Logging in to the CLI
The login process requires a username and password. The default username for first time configuration
is admin, no password is required. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive.
To log in to the CLI:
Step1 Press Enter. The Username prompt displays:
Login authentication
Username:
Step2 Enter your username at the Username prompt.
Username:admin
Step3 Press Enter. The Password prompt display
Password:
The login information is verified, and displays the following CLI menu:
<HP V1910 Switch>
If the password is invalid, the following message appears and process restarts.
% Login failed!
