Link Type
Set the link type of the selected ports, which can be access, hybrid, or trunk.
This item is available when the Link Type option is selected in the Select
membership type area.
PVID Set the PVID of the selected ports.
If you select Delete, you restore the PVID to VLAN 1.
This item is available when the PVID option is selected in the Select membership
type area.

Network requirements
As shown in Figure 127:
ï‚· Trunk port GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 of Switch A is connected to trunk port GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 of
Switch B.
ï‚· The PVID of GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 is VLAN 100.
ï‚· GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 permits packets of VLAN 2, VLAN 6 through VLAN 50, and VLAN 100 to
pass through.

Configuration procedure
1. Configure Switch A
# Configure GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 as a trunk port and configure VLAN 100 as its PVID.
Select Device > Port Management from the navigation tree and click the Setup tab to enter the page
shown in Figure 128.
