Recording the ACD-1 Messages
A Console must be used to record messages. In default the Console station 111.
From the console dial 8901and enter the password when prompted, if AVMC is fitted then dial 8902 to record
ACD-1 messages on the VMC.
Press 2 to record greeting message
Press 2 to record ACD greeting messages
Press 1 to record ACD greeting message
Record the greeting and press # to complete recording
Press 2 to record ACD Delay message
Record the greeting and press # to complete recording
Press 3 to record ACD Cut off message
Record the greeting and press # to complete recording
This is a simplified version of operation. Follow the voice prompts on the VMU for complete operation.
Programming ACD-1
This assumes that you have followed the previous instructions to program and record ACD-1 messages.
Set the timers in Mode 05-09-(06-07-08) to select answer time, second message time and disconnect time.
Decide whether Busy Tone Detect, Polarity reversal or Clear Forward is needed and set the appropriate mode to
suit your network
ACD-1 is enabled on a trunk by trunk basis in Mode 29-tk-02. The options are as follows,
0 = Day Time - Disable ACD function, Night Time - Disable ACD function
1 = Day Time - Disable ACD function, Night Time - Enable ACD function

3 = Day Time - Enable ACD function

*1: Enable ACD-1 function only when all ring assigned stations are busy.
*2: Enable ACD-1 function when 05-09-06 timer has elapsed even if ring assigned stations are idle.
The recommended setting for most applications is to set each trunk to = 6.
This means that the trunk will be answered at the time selected in Mode 05-09-06 whether the ring assigned
stations are busy or not and the first message will be played.
