Install G1E-VIU 3 VOIP Trunk Card (Obsolete) ( For G1E)
Installing the first VOIP card
Power off the system
Set the Jumper on the card to VIU1
Mount the VIU to the case using the provided screws
Plug the cables into the MBU
Installing the second VOIP card
Power off the system
Set the Jumper on the card to VIU2
Install the 4 brass spacers to the first VIU by removing the screws from the VIU and fitting spacers
Plug the cables from the MBU to the first VIU to the second VIU and then fasten VIU to spacers using
the 4 screws removed from the first VIU.
Make certain that the cable is pushed home firmly into the connector
To Install G1E-VIU in G1E+ it will be necessary to cut 3 wires on the large Ribbon cable starting
at pin 1. Contact Tech support for details
