5.3 Printer Noise
Symptom Countermeasures Related Parts
When print, there is a big bang sound at the end of
printing.
Card side is not in specification or the setting is not proper.
Refer to the manual 4.1.3.1 and reset or change the card.
There is ribbon gear noise as the printer is not properly
wind the ribbon.
Ribbon is winding on the gear side of ribbon core so it is get
out of gear. Remove the ribbon on the ribbon core gear.
There is a frictional noise during card movement
If there is not enough lubricant oil, this kind of noise can be
occurred. In this case the lubricant oil should be varnished as
below instruction.
