Symptom Countermeasures Related Parts
In case there is the magnetic stripe encoding
read/write error
Press the left button of front LCD to replay.
In case the magnetic stripe read/write error is
occurred too often
Refer to the below countermeasures.

Magnetic stripe date is not transmitted or wrong
data is transmitted.
Check the program and driver’s version and the matching between
the data and track.

If the card is not magnetic card or the recording
direction is wrong
Change the card or place the card correctly.
3 The anti-magnetic force is not proper
The range of anti-magnetic force is LoCo(300Oe~600Oe),
HiCo(1750Oe~4000Oe). Check the magnetic stripe card’s spec.
4 The magnetic stripe of card is bad Check the read/write ability of card and change to new one.

When the magnetic stripe cable is not properly
installed
The cable between M8 board and M8 head should be installed like Z
type to the printer hopper. If the cable is not properly installed, it will
be affected by the step motor noise. Refer to the manual C.1
6 The magnetic stripe head is contaminated
Refer to the manual C.1 and uninstall the magnetic stripe head and
clean with the cleaning kit.

The magnetic stripe head cable is not connected
or the magnetic stripe board or main board is bad
Clean the magnetic stripe head surface. Refer to the manual C.1 and
check the head state, if there is no problem, the magnetic board
(89030231) or main board should be replaced. When change the
main board, refer to the manual 3.3.1.
