Network Cable Specifications for EX4550 Switches
EX4550 switches have interfaces that use various types of network cables.
To achieve optimal performance, you must usecablesthat conform to IEEE802.3-2012
specifications for connections for 10GBASE-T network ports and 10GBASE-T expansion
module ports that operate in 10G mode. Table 56 on page 119 lists the IEEE 802.3-2012
specifications for cables.
Table 57 on page 119 lists the specifications for cables used for connecting the switch
to management devices.
