Saving setups
You can save the present settings that you have defined for the Series 2280 to internal memory.
After the settings are saved, you can recall the settings. You can also set them to be the default
settings on power up.
Save a user setup
You can save a user setup to internal nonvolatile memory or an external USB flash drive.
To save a user setup to internal nonvolatile memory using the front panel:
1. Configure the Series 2280 to the settings that you want to save.
2. Press the MENU key.
3. Under System, select Save/Recall.
4. Select the button next to Save and press the ENTER key. The Save/Recall Location window is
displayed.
5. Select a location to save the setup and press ENTER. A keyboard is displayed.
6. Use the keyboard to enter the name of the setup.
7. Press the ENTER key. The setup is added to internal memory.
To save a user setup to external USB flash drive using the front panel:
1. Press the MENU key.
2. Under System, select Save/Recall.
3. Select the button next to Save and press the ENTER key. The Save/Recall Location window is
displayed.
4. Select Save to USB and press the ENTER key. A keyboard is displayed.
5. Use the keyboard to enter the name of the setup.
6. Press the ENTER key. The setup is saved to external USB flash drive.
To save a user setup to internal nonvolatile memory using SCPI commands:
Configure the instrument to the settings that you want to save. To save the setup, send the
command:
*SAV <n>
Where <n> is an integer between 1 and 5.
The setup saved through the *SAV command have the name SETUPx, where x is the value you set
for <n>.
