Local lockout
The front-panel EXIT (LOCAL) key is used to cancel remote operation and return control to the front
panel. However, this key can be locked-out to prevent a test from being interrupted. When locked, this
key becomes a NO-OP (no operation). Configure the following attribute to lock or unlock the
EXIT (LOCAL) key:
display.locallockout = lockout
Where lockout is set to one of the following values:
0 or display.UNLOCK
1 or display.LOCK
Example:
The following programming example illustrates how to lock out the EXIT (LOCAL) key:
display.locallockout = display.LOCK
Load test menu
The LOAD TEST menu lists tests (USER, FACTORY, and SCRIPTS) that can be run from the front
panel. Factory tests are preloaded and saved in nonvolatile memory at the factory. They are available
in the FACTORY TESTS submenu. Named scripts that have been loaded into the run-time
environment can be selected from the SCRIPTS submenu. Refer to Manage scripts
(on page 6-3) for
additional information.
User tests
User tests can be added or deleted from the to the USER TESTS submenu.
