This function generates an audible tone.

beeper.beep(duration, frequency)
duration
The amount of time to play the tone in seconds; the allowable range is 0.1 s to 100 s
frequency
The frequency of the tone in Hertz (Hz)
Details
The beeper will not sound if it is disabled. It can be disabled or enabled with the beeper.enable attribute, or
through the front-panel Main Menu.
Example
beeper.enable = beeper.ON
beeper.beep(2, 2400)
Enables the beeper and generates a
two-second, 2400 Hz tone.

Disable the beeper (beeper.OFF or 0)

Details
Disabling the beeper also disables front-panel key clicks.
