• Secure Erase — This performs a secure erase of all non-volatile memory in
compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual
(NISPOM) Chapter 8 requirements.
You must confirm the secure erase, and the oscilloscope will reboot when
finished.
Performing a Secure Erase
1 From the main menu, choose Control > Default....
2 In the Default dialog box, select Secure Erase.
This performs a secure erase of all non-volatile memory in compliance with
National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM) Chapter 8
requirements.
You must confirm the secure erase, and the oscilloscope will reboot when
finished.
