Disassembly
IMPORTANT: Before separating components mark them with an awl or marker. This
will ensure proper orientation during reassembly.
1. Remove 2 through bolts and commutator end cap, taking care not to lose brush springs.

2. Remove the nut, washer, spring, pinion stopper and pinion drive assembly. You may
need to lightly clamp the armature in a vise while removing the nut.
NOTE:
DISPOSE OF NUT AFTER REMOVING IT. USE A NEW ONE FOR REASSEMBLY.
