Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor
Removal/Installation
1. Disconnect sensor from wiring harness.
2. Remove sensor from exhaust cover.
3. Reverse steps for installation. Tighten to specified torque.
CAUTION
Over-tightening the engine coolant temperature sensor can lead to failing the plas-
tic threads. Be sure to tighten to the specified torque.
