Chapter 3: Setup
Power Supply Box Installation
The power supply box can be mounted directly to the floor, or to the wall using user-supplied
screws. For dimensions of the available mounting holes, refer to Figure 3-67. OMRON recom-
mends using screws that are suitable for the substrate (wood, concrete, etc.).
Facility Electrical Installation
The power supply box is a permanently connected equipment, and therefore, the user must
supply the power cord transferring power from the facility into to the electrician access box.
The user must punch a hole through the back of the electrician access box (location (C) in Fig-
ure 3-67. ), and install the user-supplied strain relief for the power cord. The strain relief attach-
ing to the electrician access box is a user-supplied part, and shall be sized appropriately for
the user-supplied power cord.
As displayed in Figure 3-67. the main disconnect switch is located on the electrician access
box, and controls electrical current flow into the power supply box. When the switch is in the
horizontal position, it is off and when it is in the vertical position it is on. See: Figure 7-10.
The power supply box input electrical power is protected by a 25 A branch rated circuit
breaker.
