LIFEPAK 20/20e Defibrillator/Monitor Battery Maintenance
Discarding/Recycling Batteries
A battery should be considered to be at end of its useful life if one or more of the
following circumstances occur:
■ There is physical damage to the battery.
■ The battery is leaking.
■ The battery charges to 80% or less of full charge capacity.
Recycle batteries according to national and local regulations. Contact
Physio-Control Technical Support for assistance at 1.800.442.1142, or refer to
www.physio-control.com/recycling for disposal instructions.
WARNING!
Risk of fire, explosion, and burns. Do not recharge, disassemble, crush,
heat above 100°C (212°F), incinerate, or mistreat batteries.
