Table 4-12. Contents of the Supplementary Configuration Group
Group Group Description Function Function Description
FTIM Sets the fallback timing mode. The FLoo Set fallback timing to Loop **
module automatically reverts to fallback FInt* Set fallback timing to Internal
timing on the loss of primary timing. This FExt Set fallback timing to External
group contains: FThru Set fallback timing to Through
exit Leave the FTIM group, move on to JBUF group
JBUF Sets the jitter buffer depth. Increasing the Joff No jitter buffer
jitter buffer depth increases jitter tolerance, J32* Set jitter buffer depth to 32 bits
but also increases circuit delay. This group J128 Set jitter buffer depth to 128 bits
contains: exit Leave the JBUF group, move on to TLBO group
TXYL Sets the condition on which the card Off* Yellow alarm off (never active)
generates a T1 yellow alarm signal. Note On Yellow alarm on (always active)
that the exact form of yellow alarm
depends on whether SF or ESF is selected.
Auto Yellow alarm activated on loss of T1 receive
signal
This group contains: exit Leave the TXYL group, move on to TYPE group
Rfrm Resets the receive side of the card by
forcing it out of frame and allowing it to
resynchronize.
NA Push down on the SET/NEXT switch to move on
to Rcht
Rcht Resets channel configuration table NA Push down on the SET/NEXT switch to move on
to Rcpu
Rcpu Resets the central processing unit (CPU) on
the card. The effect is equivalent to
removing power from the card and then
restoring it. This reset does not change the
configuration settings of the card.
NA Push down on the SET/NEXT switch to move on
to the FTIM group
* Indicates factory default settings for these parameters.
