2.3.4.2 ELECTRICAL INTERFACE ADAPTERS (MA-260, MA-262 & MA-263)
Electrical interface adapters are used to connect the M-DACS to a T1 network. There are three types of
electrical interface adapters available, the MA-260, MA-262 and MA-263. These are Line I/Os used
for communication between nodes in T1 systems, where the required termination impedance is 100
Ohms. The system automatically sets the 100 Ohm termination impedance during NMS configuration.
The MA-260/263 uses an RJ48C connector and the MA-262 uses a DB-9 connector as shown in
Figure 2-18.
