11. With the T1 loopback Plugs in place, perform all desired channel tests using available VF, data,
and other type test sets. These tests may include, for example, loss tests on voice and program
channels, bit error tests on data channels, and so on.
(See Section 8 of this manual for additional information.)
12. When channel tests are complete, remove the loopback either by removing the loopback plugs
or the fiber patch cords.
13. Return primary clock from DACS module to “4”.
(See section 5 of this manual for more information on how to use NMS to change
the DACS module primary clock)
14. Once this procedure is completed for both Location 2 and 3, you can now perform end-to-end
or single-ended (far-end loopback) tests on all channels
established between any two locations in the system.
Refer to the individual channel module sections for recommended test procedures.
This three-location M-DACS system is now ready for service.
