Operating sequence
The transfer involves two steps:
1. Copy the display machine data from the HMI Embedded System to an
external data medium.
2. Insert the display machine data in the PCU 50/PCU 70 on the system with
HMI Advanced.
Case 1 (see drawing):
1. On the system with HMI Advanced: Select the Services operating area.
2. Transfer display machine data to the display, if not yet activated:
Services → Data Selection
Select “Display machine data”
OK
3. Copy machine data:
Services → Manage Data
Display machine data\BDxxyy.tea
Copy
4. Select target directory:
Diagnostics\MachineData\OperatorPanel
Paste
5. Activate inserted display machine data via Start-up
Start-up → Machine Data → Display MD → File Functions
Set directory and BDxxyy.tea file
→ Load
Note
Systems with HMI Embedded manage more display machine data than systems
with HMI Advanced. A entry is made in the error log for all display machine data
that are offered but that are not defined in HMI Advanced or are faulty.
