Query
Reads and returns the current setting of the IP address as explained above.
Example
SYST:COMM:TCP:ADDR "192.16.16.114" sets the IP address to a defined
value.
Syntax
:SYSTem:COMMunicate:TCPip:NETMask <string>
Parameters
string is a string only containing the net mask for the 4400.
Description
This command sets the net mask of the 4400. See section I/O Configuration for more
details.
Query
Reads and returns the current setting of the net mask as explained above.
Example
SYST:COMM:TCP:NETM "255.255.255.0" sets the net mask to a defined
value.
Syntax
:SYSTem:COMMunicate:TCPip:GATeway <string>
Parameters
string is a string only containing the default gateway address for the 4400.
Description
This command sets the default gateway address of the 4400. See section I/O Configu-
ration for more details.
Query
Reads and returns the current setting of the gateway address as explained above.
Example
SYST:COMM:TCP:GAT "192.16.16.1" sets the gateway address to a
defined value.
Syntax
:SYSTem:COMMunicate:TCPip:PORT <int>
Parameters
int defines the TCP/IP port address of the 4400. The address must be in the range
from 49152 to 65535.
Description
This command sets the port address on which the 4400 can be controlled via LAN.
See section I/O Configuration for more details.
Query
Reads and returns the current setting of the port used by TCPIP as explained above.
Example
SYST:COMM:TCP:PORT 49200 sets the TCP/IP port address to its default.
Syntax
:SYSTem:COMMunicate:TCPip:TERMinator <PredefExp>
Parameters
PredefExp can take on one of the following values: LF or CR or CRLF. The
default is LF.
Description
The command defines the delimiter for SCPI control strings. See section I/O Configu-
ration for more details.
