Furthermore the Reference Measurement Channel is indicated on the Basic
Parameters screen.
LAC
The Location Area Code identifies a Location
Area within a Public Land Mobile Network. Its
value range is 0 to 65,535.
Cell Identity
The Cell Identity (CI) is a 16 bit cell identifier.
Primary
Scrambling
Code
This field indicates the primary scrambling code
used by the cell.
RMC
This field indicates the Reference Measurement
Channel to be used for measurements after a
call has been initiated via the
NB Call
Loopback
softkey. By using the Reference
Measurement Channel you can fix the variable
parameters of a WCDMA signal for measure-
ments.
Possible selections: 12.2 kbps, 64 kbps,
144 kbps, 384 kbps.
The follwoing tables show the characteristics of
the individual Reference Measurement Chan-
nels.
