4. Water Guide Jacket −
Removal
1) Remove the cylinder liner, refer to
paragraph 1 to paragraph 2.2.
2) Remove the lifting tool (94201) together
with the flanges (17) from the cylinder
liner (see paragraph 2.3).
3) Attach the eye bolts (4) to the water
guide jacket (3).
4) Attach the three manual ratchets
(94016−031, 94016−009, Fig. 5) to the
three eye bolts (4) and the shackles
(94018A) to the lifting tool (94201).
Note: Make sure that you do not cause
damage the top of the cylinder
liner.
5) Remove the holder (15, Fig. 6).
6) Loosen the three screws (18).
7) If the water guide jacket (3) does not
come away from the cylinder liner, do
as follows:
c) Put the three screws (18) in the
threaded holes of the holder (16).
d) Turn equally the three screws (18)
to push down the water guide
jacket.
8) Use the manual ratchets to lower the
water guide jacket on to the bottom
plates. Make sure that you keep the
water guide jacket level.
9) Attach the lifting tool (94201) to the
cylinder liner (see paragraph 2.1).
10) Carefully lift then move the cylinder
liner to a different position on the
bottom plates.
