Service Parts Disassembly
Tray 1 (MPT) Assembly
Caution
Tray 1 and the Knock-Up Plate contain unsecured plastic parts that fall off and
are easy to lose.
Also, be careful in step 6 to not exert too much pressure, or you can break the
plastic tracks.
1. Remove the Right Cover (page 7-6).
2. Remove the Left Cover (page 7-7).
3. Remove the Top Cover (page 7-10).
4. Open Tray 1.
5. Unhook only the bottom of the 2 springs connecting the Knock-Up Plate
to the Pick-Up Rack.
Note
DO NOT unhook the top portion of the springs from the Pick-Up Rack.
6. To disengage the Knock-Up Plate from the Tray 1 (MPT) Assembly, flex
the left and right tray links from the indented portion of the tracks.
