tion (180°), as shown in the figure.
Remove the load and make a note of the
value from the dynamometer, as value a2.

The maximum play allowed is:
• IRB 1600ID-4/1.5: 0.34 mm
• IRB 1660ID-X/1.55: 0.25 mm
Calculate the play in the axis as a1 + a2.
The values of a1 and a2 are absolute val-
ues.

• air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot
working area.
