Selecting a multi
Here you can select the desired multi from internal memory.
To access this page ....... [MULTI] key [F1] key (LIST)
A Multi list block
Functions
[F2] key (MIX)
Displays the Mix page.
[F3] key (MIDI)
Displays the MIDI page.
[F4] key (SPAN)
Displays the Span page.
Multi list block
This shows the multis that are in the internal memory of the MPC4000.
A Tag field
Assigns a tag to the desired multi.
B Multi field
Shows the multis that are currently in memory. The multi at which the cursor is located
is currently selected. A * symbol is displayed in front of a newly created multi or a multi
that you edited after loading or saving it.
You can press the [WINDOW] key to access the Multi popup window, where you can cre-
ate or delete multis.
C Multi No. field
Displays the number (multi number) that is used when you use MIDI events to switch
multis. If you turn the [JOG] dial in this field, the Multi Number popup window will
appear, allowing you to specify the multi number.
