3. Ensure IGMP Snooping is enabled globally and on the VLAN using the show ip
igmp snooping config command.
4. Ensure
the multicast group IP/MAC address has been learned on the host interface
using the show ip igmp snooping groups command.
5. If the multicast group association with host interface is not seen, it means that the
IGMP messages from Host interface is not received by IGMP Snooping module.
Verify the IGMP Snooping counters using the show ip igmp snooping
statistics command.
If the RX Invalid pkts counter is getting incremented then
the incoming IGMP messages are not valid. This might be the reason for multicast
group not being associated with host port.
