Use the following command for issues related to interfaces, the status, and associated
attributes: show ip rip interface show ipv6 rip interface
Use the following commands to access the current RIP route database and to troubleshoot
issues that relate to RIP routes:
• show ip rip show ipv6 rip
• show ip rip database show ipv6 rip database
RIP clear options
In certain situations, you must delete specific RIP routes to delete stale information, or you
must
force RIP to delete its entire database and relearn all routes. The following figure shows
the CLI command options you use to clear RIP routes on an IPv4 network.

Be
aware that clearing RIP routes deletes the specified routes. RIP routes are relearned after
the next advertisement, which can affect routing in the RIP network.
