8. Insert the USB drive into a desktop PC.

Verify that the cloned image has been successfully created. If you use Ghost
software, ensure that the cloned image is created in the correct path and that the
following three files exist:
two files with the .GHS file extension
one file with the .GHO file extension
Restoring the Mediation Server Module image from the backup on
a USB drive
Use the procedure in this section to restore the image on the Mediation Server Module.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have a backup (cloned image) of your Mediation Server Module image and
configuration.
Ensure you have an application available with which to restore the cloned Mediation
Server Module image.
Ensure the Secure Router 4134 is powered down.
Procedure steps
1. Insert the USB drive that contains the cloned image into the USB slot of the
Mediation Server Module.
2. Connect a display monitor and a USB keyboard to the Mediation Server Module.
3. Power up the Secure Router 4134.
4. Launch the software you use to clone and restore images, if necessary (the software
may launch automatically, depending on the software and the version you run).
5. Follow the prompts on your screen to restore the image to the Mediation Server
Module. Refer to instructions that ship with the application you use if you require
additional information about the prompts.
It takes approximately 30 minutes to restore the backup image to the Mediation
Server Module if you use Ghost software.
6. Reboot the Mediation Server Module at the end of the restoration (cloning) process
and remove the USB drive from the Mediation Server Module.
The Mediation Server Module initializes using the cloned image that you restored
to the module.
