Common problems and solutions
The following sections contain solutions for common SIP Media Gateway voice connectivity
issues:
• No voice commands available on page 309
• New calls fail if more than 8 (or 16, 32, 64) simultaneous G.711 calls are attempted on

• Port 2/2 on the SR4134 cannot be configured on page 316
• T1 Link: Amber or RED LED and alarms on page 316
• Remote T1 link reports clock slip or frame drop errors on page 319
• Configuration of BRI, T1, or PRI port as clock source produces error on page 322

No voice commands available
If
the Secure Router 2330/4134 is not equipped for voice traffic, the CLI does not display voice
commands.
To list the available commands, enter a ? at the configure# prompt.
