Chapter 12: Troubleshooting ADSL
This section describes commands that you use to troubleshoot ADSL.
ADSL show commands
Use
the show system configuration command to display the hardware version and
card type in each slot.
Use the show chassis command to display all slots and card types in chassis.
Use the show module configuration xdsl<slot>/<port> to display ADSL
Layer 1 configuration.
Use the show module userstats xdsl <slot>/<port> command to display
ADSL user statistics.
Use the show module alarms xdsl <slot>/<port> to display Layer 1 alarms.
Use the show interface bundle <bundlename> to display ADSL bundle status
and configuration.
ADSL SM Card initialization
If the ADSL card is not working or no LEDs are illuminated:
Solution:
Check the LED status - The LINK-STAT LED should be GREEN and the STAT LED
should be AMBER when no ADSL bundle has been configured.
Use the show chassis and show system configuration commands to make sure
that the correct hardware version and card type are installed. Confirm that the card has
been detected by the Avaya Secure Router 2330/4134.
If the above fails:
Reset the ADSL SM Card in the slot.
If the problem persists, perform a hot-swap of the module, reset the card, and verify
operation.
