Making sure the software image is correct
Make sure that the router software image on the router is compatible with the type of router
you are using. To verify that the software version is correct and current, use the show
version
command to determine what version of software the router is running. You can then
verify this version against the most recent copy of the Secure Router 2330/4134 Release
Notes.
Example
SR# show version
Ensure that the router software image is compatible with the interface modules that are
installed in the chassis, and that the image supports the features and functionality you are
attempting to use. For example, Secure Router Release 10.0 software does not support voice
features and functionality.
Ensure the normal and golden bootrom partitions are running the same image version. Use
the show version command to find information for the image version running on the normal
and golden bootrom partitions of your Secure Router 2330/4134. It is important that the normal
and golden bootrom partitions use the same image version.
