forget the administrator password, you can log in using another user account. Similar to
other Operating Systems, the administrator password cannot be recovered.

Enable auto updates on Windows Server 2003 and the Mediation server running on the
Mediation Server Module.
"High Priority" updates for Windows Server 2003 and the Mediation Server are
automatically downloaded and auto-installed (identical to the Windows updates process)
when you enable the Microsoft auto update feature on each. "Optional" updates must be
done manually—you are only alerted to their availability. You must go to the Microsoft
update Web site (
http://www.update.microsoft.com) to get a description of the optional
updates. You can then decide if the update is necessary for your system.
• Make a backup copy of the Mediation Server Module software and configuration using a
third-party application such as Ghost software from Symantec Corporation.
Cloning the Mediation Server Module image to a USB drive
Use the procedure in this section to create a backup copy of the image and configuration on
the Mediation Server Module.
Prerequisites
•
Ensure you have an application available with which to create a clone of your Mediation
Server Module image and configuration.
• Ensure the Secure Router 4134 is powered down.
Procedure steps
1. Insert a USB drive into the USB slot of the Mediation Server Module.
2. Connect a display monitor and a USB keyboard to the Mediation Server Module.
3. Power up the Secure Router 4134.
4. Launch the software you use to clone images, if necessary (the software may launch
automatically, depending on the software and the version you run).
5. Follow the prompts on your screen to create a backup of the Mediation Server
Module image. Refer to instructions that ship with the application you use if you
require additional information about the prompts.
It takes approximately 30 minutes to create a backup image if you use Ghost
software.
6. Close the cloning application.
7. Remove the USB drive from the Mediation Server Module.
