Use syslog error messages to assist you in troubleshooting errors or issues in the Avaya Secure Router
2330/4134 system.
Important:
Syslog and console reporting can generate a substantial amount of output and can use a substantial
amount of system resources. Use the syslog and console reporting features with caution in any
production network to avoid adversely affecting other activities on the network. Ensure you configure
syslog and console reporting for the specific options you are troubleshooting.
Message severity levels
The Secure Router 2330/4134 sorts syslog error messages based on the following levels of
severity:

Emergency
• Alert
• Critical
• Error
• Warning
• Notification
• Informational
• Debugging
