* The modules installed in this module are identified by slot/subslot numbers. For
example,
if the VCM_A is in slot 7, then the modules plugged into it are slot/subslot:
7/1, 7/2, 7/3, and 7/4.
** The functionality of the Clear Channel DS3 and the Channelized T3 modules
are now combined into a single Clear Channel DS3 module. The Channelized
T3 module is discontinued.
Hot swapping a card
To hot swap a card, use the following steps:
Procedure steps
1.
Use the “show chassis” command to display all the slots and card types in the
chassis.
show chassis
2. Execute the following steps to Hot Swap a card in slot #5:
/configure# chassis module 5
/configure/chassis/module (5)# shutdown
/configure/chassis/module (5)# no shutdown
