Policy Based Routing
The
PBR redirect action is specified for each policy class. The PBR redirection action includes
configuring either next-hop IP address or interface. The command show qos chassis
policy-map [policy-map name] detail will display the PBR configuration for a
class.
Marking
After
classification, marking a field in the packet such that it can be easily recognized later (for
instance, an http packet from a certain source needs to be classified only once, after which it
is marked. The network core looks at the marking to figure out what packet it is and services
it appropriately). The command show qos chassis policy-map [policy-map name]
detail will display marking parameter for a class.
