If you have a Secure Router 2330/4134 with an older version of the software image (filename:
tor.Z), you must upgrade your bootrom to accommodate the new software image (filename:
SR4134.Z or SR2330.Z).
It is important to upgrade both the normal and golden bootroms to prevent a bootrom
mismatch.
Procedure steps
1. Copy the new software image file (SR4134.Z or SR2330.Z) to cf0 using an FTP
server, USB drive, or Compact Flash card (refer to procedures in this section).
2. To access the bootrom command menu, press any key at the beginning of the boot
sequence. The Secure Router 2330/4134 stops the auto-boot sequence and re-
directs you to the bootrom prompt. The following figure shows you the prompt at
which you can enter the bootrom command menu by pressing any key.
3. At the prompt, enter c to change the boot parameters: [BOOT]: c
4.
When prompted, enter the name of the device from which you prefer the router
boots: Boot dev [ftp,cf0,cf1,usb0]: cf0
5. Enter the boot file name: Boot file name: SR4134.Z OR SR2330.Z
6. Enter the name of the server you use (the router provides this information if you
have previously configured it): Server name: sunserver
7. Enter the server IP address (the router provides this information if you have
previously configured it): Server IP address: 10.10.11.12

9. Enter the subnet mask (the router provides this information if you have previously
configured it): My subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
