Troubleshooting tips: We can't assign different classification type for the classes at the same
level.
Same
classification key should not be assigned to some other class in the same
level
Symptom: The following error message will come. 'Error! [classification type] was already
assigned.'
Problem description: In MF classification tree, different classes at the same level can not have
same classification key value. But classes at different level can have same classification type
and classification key value.
Prerequisite: Policy-map should be created successfully.
Troubleshooting tips: We can't assign same classification key values for the classes at the
same level, because this may lead to confusion while classifying the packets.
Assigning multiple keys to a class
Symptom:
The following error message will come. 'Error! Invalid classification type requested'
Problem description: A class can have only one classification type but can have multiple keys.
If we try to assign a different key, which is of different classification type, it won't accept.
Prerequisite: Policy-map should be created successfully.
Troubleshooting tips: All keys should belong to the same classification type for a class.
