the Secure Router 2330/4134 is not running 10.1.0.0 or later software, perform the required
upgrade.
PVM or PVIM module not installed
The internal Packetized Voice Module (PVM) on the Secure Router 4134 or Packetized Voice
Internal Module (PVIM) on the Secure Router 2330 must be installed for the Secure Router to
support the SIP Media Gateway features. Ensure that the PVM or PVIM module is installed
properly.
The following figure shows the installation location for the internal PVM in the Secure Router
4134.
