Address information required by WAP-
service applications in order to connect
to a specific service. URLs generally be-
gin with http://. Often referred to as “In-
ternet Address” or “Web Address”.

WAP services use the Wireless Markup
Language (WML) as the language for dis-
playing content. This is similar to the

used in the Internet and World Wide Web
(WWW).
