Pickup Block
■ Pickup Control
The papers set in the deck is held up by the lifter, and is kept to a specific paper pickup position.
When the Start key is pressed on the host, the Deck Pickup Motor (M103/203/ 303) turns the Deck Pickup Roller to pick up paper.
Only one sheet of paper is fed by the Deck Pickup/Feed Roller and the Deck Separation Roller.
After the paper is detected by the Deck Pull-out Sensor (S104/S204/S304), the Deck Pickup Roller Solenoid (SOL101/SOL201/
SOL301) turns on to separate the Deck Pickup Roller from the paper surface. (exclude coated thin paper)
hen, the paper butts against the Deck Pull-out Roller to form a loop. This corrects paper skew.
The Deck Pull-out Roller is driven by the Deck Pull-out Motor (M104/M204/M304) to feed paper to the host machine.

■ Air Assist Control
To facilitate separation of coated paper, this equipment executes air-assisted control.
The Flotation Fan 1 (FAN101, FAN201, FAN301) and the Flotation Fan 2 (FAN102, FAN202, FAN302) blows air against the
paper so that preventing double feeding.
To facilitate separation of paper in a high-humidity environment, the Air Heater Unit (AHT101, AHT202, AHT301) is available.
The Flotation Fan 1 (FAN101, FAN201, FAN301) with an air heater blows hot wind against paper to reduce the humidity, thus
facilitating separation of paper.
