Setting the clearing of the full escape discharge paper count when double feeding is detected on the Multi Deck.
The user mode (immediate stop) setting takes precedence. A jam may occur in the flapper section.

To clear the limit on the full count of paper discharged to the Escape Tray on the Multi Deck.
Compartment Block
■ Overview
This equipment has three decks: Upper Deck, Middle Deck, and Lower Deck.
The Upper Deck and Middle Deck can accommodate 1,500 sheets of paper (80g/m
2
).
The Lower Deck can accommodate 2,000 sheets of paper (80g/m
2
).
■ Deck Opening/Closing Control
When the Deck Open Switch is pressed, the Lifter Motor (M101/M201/M301) turns on to make the lifter start descending.
One second later, the Deck Open/Close Solenoid (SOL102/SOL202/SOL302) turns on to unlock the Deck. The unlocked Deck
is pushed several centimeters forward by spring force.
The Deck is unlocked at a delayed timing to let paper being fed drop to the lifter before the Deck opens. Otherwise, the paper
may be caught by the guide or other parts. The Deck does not open when the Pull-out Sensor (S104/S204/ S304) is turned ON
due to a jam in the feed path. It will not open until the Deck Left Front Cover is opened and the jam is removed.
The lifter continues to descend after the Deck is unlocked. The lifter stops when detected by the Relay Paper Sensor (S110/
S210/ S310).
The Deck is closed by pushing it into the Paper Deck by hand. When the Deck Open/Close Sensor (S102 /S202/ S302) detects
the closing deck, the lifter starts ascending to the pickup position.
