Upper Deck
Paper picked up in the Upper Deck is fed by two drive motors that the Vertical Path Upper Feed Motor (M001) and the Vertical
Path Lower Feed Motor (M002). The feed status is detected by the Vertical Path Upper Sensor (S001), the Vertical Path
Middle Sensor (S002), and the Vertical Path Lower Sensor (S003).
Middle Deck
Paper picked up in the Middle Deck is fed by the Vertical Path Lower Feed Motor (M002). The feed status is detected by the
Vertical Path Lower Sensor (S003).
Lower Deck
Paper picked up in the Lower Deck is fed by Horizontal Path Feed Motor 1 (M003). The feed status is detected by Horizontal
Path Sensor 1 (S004).
Horizontal Path
Paper fed from the Upper/Middle/Lower Deck or the Through Path Unit is fed by Horizontal Feed Motor 1 (M003). After the
Horizontal Path Sensor 2 (S004) detects the leading edge of the paper, it is stopped momentarily at the inlet of the host's
pickup unit for synchronization. When synchronized, the paper is handed over to the host machine.
