Generating the Key and Certicate for Network
Communication
1647-087
A key and certicate can be generated with the machine when it is required for encrypted communication via
Transport Layer Security (TLS). You can use TLS when accessing the machine via the Remote UI. Self-signed certicates
are used with the key and certicate generated in "Network Communication."
If you want to use a server certicate that has a CA signature, you can generate a CSR together with a key
instead of a certicate. Generating a Key and Certicate Signing Request (CSR)(P. 386)
