Press F1 [NUCLD] to select the nuclide. The nuclide will cycle from “I131” to “Tc99m” to
“I123” and back to “I131”.
Press F2 [NUMBR] to select the number of uptakes in the study. The choices are “1”, “2”, “3”
or "4”.
Note: It's better to have too many measurements than too few measurements in a protocol.
If the physician decides, for example, that a patient does not need a third or fourth
measurement, the study can still be completed on the CAPTUS
®
600 without any
problem. But if the patient is assigned to a protocol that only has two measurements,
and then the physician decides that the patient needs a third measurement, there's
no way to add another measurement for this patient in the CAPTUS
®
600 system. If
you encounter that type of problem, the best solution is to make a printout of all
patient data, and then change the last measurement of the protocol to obtain results
of the additional measurement.
Press F3 [REPS] to select the number of repetitions for each measurement. The choices are
“1” or “2”.
Note: If 2 repetitions are chosen, it is still possible to perform the measurement without
making the second repetition.
When all entries are correct, press F4 [OK].
Figure 7-15 will appear allowing the Pre-Dose
