2. Remove the four upper end cap bolts from the
steering column retaining bolts (1) with inner hex
wrench.
(Tighten: Upper end cap bolts to 12 ± 2 N·m)
3. Using snap-ring pliers, remove the outer snap ring
(1).
4. Remove the retainer and spring.
5. Remove the upper end cap of steering column.
6. Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.
