4. Remove the return hose clamps (1) from the power
steering fluid reservoir and insert the end of the
hose into a container.
5. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel from lock-to-lock until all power steering fluid has been removed
from the system.
6. Stop the engine.
7. Use a service jack to support the engine.
8. Remove the intermediate shaft coupling bolt (1) at
the steering gear.
(Tighten: Intermediate shaft coupling bolt to 25 ± 5
N·m)
