For STANDARD MODE:
•If“d” isout oftherange,onlya paper feed isexecuted,andthe subsequent data ishandled asnormal

•Ifthebarcodeiswiderthantheprintareafor one line,thebarcode is notprinted,but only apaper feed is
executed.
•The amount ofpaper feed corresponds tothe height ofthebar code(includingthe HRIcharacters ifHRI
character printingisspecified), irrespective oftheline feed width setbya commandsuchasESC2 orESC

•This command onlyworks if nodata existsintheprint buffer. If anydata exists inthe print buffer, thedata
subsequent to“m”is handledasnormal data.
•After thebarcode is printed,the beginning oftheline is taken asthestart positionforthenextprint.
•This command is not affected byanyprint modes (emphasis, double strike, underline, and character size),
exceptfor theinverted character mode.
For PAGE MODE:
•Thiscommandonlymaps thebar code,without performing aprintout. After thebar codeismapped, the
dot next to the last data item of thebar code is taken asthe startpositionforthenext data mapping.
•If“d”isoutoftherange,theprocessingofthecommandisaborted,andthesubsequentdataishandledas
normaldata.In thiscase, the data mapping start positiondoes not move.
•Ifthebarcodeiswiderthantheprintarea, the barcodeisnot printed,but the data mapping start position
ismoved totheleft endof thenon-print area.
