[Function] Specifying the absolute position ofcharactervertical directioninPAGE MODE
[Code] <1D>H<24>H<nL><nH>
[Range] 0≤nL≤255, 0≤nH≤255
[Outline] [The specification which is commontothemodel]
• Specifies the vertical position of character at the start point of data development in PAGE MODE using
absolute positionbased onthe start position.
• The position of vertical direction of character at the start position of next data development is the position
[(nL+nH×256)×basiccalculation pitch] from the startposition.
[Caution] [The specification which is commontothemodel]
•Thiscommandis ignoredexcept at PAGE MODE selection.
•Absolute position settingexceeding thespecifiedprint area isignored.
•Positioninhorizontal directionof character atthestart positionofdata development isnot shifted.
•Start point used asthe reference issetbyESCT.
•The following operation occursat the startpoint of ESCT.
(1) Whenstart point issetat “upper left” or “lower right”, the absolutepositionof paper feed direction
(vertical direction of character) isset. In thiscase, basic calculation pitch(y)ofverticaldirection is used.
(2) Whenstart point issetat “upper right” or “lowerleft”, theabsolute position ofvertical direction of paper
feed (vertical directionofcharacter) isset. In thiscase, basic calculation pitch(x) ofhorizontal directionis
used.
•Basic calculation pitch is setby GS P.
•Whenfractionalnumberis caused bythe calculation, itis corrected bythe minimum pitch of mechanism and
the rest is discarded.
