•Becauseall theNV bit imagespreviouslydefinedbythiscommandare deleted, it isnotpossible to
redefine anyone ofthe previously defined multiple data. Allthedata mustberesent.
•Anymechanical operation suchas opening the cover, initializing theprinterhead position,or using the
paper-feedswitchetccan’texecutefromtheexecutionofthiscommanduntilthecompletionofthehardware
reset,
•When the STANDARDMODE is selected, thiscommandis onlyvalid whenitiswritten at the head of aline.
•Thiscommandis invalid when PAGEMODE isselected.
•Thiscommandbecomesvalid after the7 bytes of <FSq nxLxH yLyH> areprocessed asnormal values.
• When data which exceeds the remaining capacity of the defined area is specified by xL, xH, yL, yH,
outside-defined-areaarguments will be processed.
• When outside-defined-area arguments are processed for the first bit image data group, this command
becomes invalid.
•Ifoutside-defined-areaargumentsareprocessedforthesecondorsubsequentNVbitimagedatagroups,the
processing of this command is suspended, and awriting process into the non-volatile memory starts. At this
time,theNVbitimagebeingdefinedbecomesinvalid(Undefined),buttheprecedingNVbitimagesare valid.
•“d”denotes thedefinitiondata.Bitswhichcorrespondto dotsto be printedarerepresented as“1”, andthose
not to beprintedas“0”.
•ThedefinitionwillstartfromNV bitimagenumber 01H andn-numberbitimages willbe definedinascending
order. Therefore, the first data group [xL xH yL yH d1… dk] becomes NV bit image number 01H, and the
lastdatagroup [xLxHyLyHd1…dk] becomesNVbitimagenumber0nH.ThesenumbersofNVbitimages
