•The definition data of oneNV bit image consists of [xL xHyL yH d1…dk] .Therefore, when onlyone NVbit
imageis defined,n =1;the data group [xLxH yL yHd1… dk] is manipulatedonce, and ([Data:(xL+ xH
x256) x( yL+ yH x256) x8 ] + [Header:4] )bytes ofnon-volatilememoryisusedtostore it
• The maximum definition area of printer depends on model. Multiple NV bit images can be defined, but bit
images of whichtotal size (Bit image data +Header) exceeds capacityof definitionarea cannotbedefined.
• The printer state will change to BUSY just before the writing operation into the non-volatile memory begins.
Also, the printer state will change toBUSY just before the writing operation begins regardless of the state of
the MSWeven ata printer that have aMSW 1-3[Busycondition]

• If this command is sent while a macro is still being defined, the definition process will be stopped and the
execution of thiscommandwill start.

•Because frequent writing in the non-volatile memory can destroy the memory, the writing command should
be usedless than10 times aday.
• It may happen that the printer becomes BUSY during the process of writing data into the non-volatile
memory in the execution of this command. When the printer becomes BUSY, it will stop receiving data.
Therefore, sending data from thehost (including real time command) is prohibited.
